Dress Code

Proper dancewear is required for all classes to ensure safety, comfort, and freedom of movement - no street clothes please. While we don't require a specific uniform (aside from ballet), students must wear clothing from a dancewear store/site. Leotards, tights, dance shorts or leggings and matching sets are all great choices  Dance-wear must be solid colored, no logos or busy patterns. This ensures that every dancer is comfortable during class. Thank you for helping create the best environment for learning!

- Hair must be neatly secured away from the face in a tight, slicked- back style with no fly-aways.

NOTE : Our dress code is strict and must be followed to maintain a polished and professional look.

DANCE SHOE REQUIREMENTS & UNIFORM RECOMMENDATIONS

Jazz + Musical Theatre:

Shoes: Tan Capezio pirouetts 

Uniform: Any dancewear

Hip - Hop:

Shoes: White high-top Converse (only yo be worn in the studio)

Uniform: Any dancewear  

Solid color sweatpants, joggers, or cargo pants are strongly recommended.

Contemporary: 

Shoes: Tan Capezio pirouettes

Uniform: Any dancewear 

​

Tap: 

Shoes: Black tap shoes 

Uniform: Any dancewear 

​

Acro: 

Shoes: No shoes required

Uniform: Any dancewear

​

Additional Notes: 

- Tights are not required for any of these classes, but beige tights are recommended if needed

​

-Shoe color may be subject to change for recital based on the choreographer's preference 

​

BALLET UNIFORM LISTED BELOW!

Ballet Uniform

*REQUIRED

​

  • Shoes: Pink canvas ballet shoes — So Danca brand

  • Tights: Pink footed ballet tights

  • Leotard: Any solid color. Must be a traditional dance leotard with no busy prints or gymnastics-style designs.

  • Ballet Skirt: Optional and may be worn over the leotard.

  • Shorts: Not permitted.

 

Please Note: If ballet falls in the middle of your dancer’s class schedule, time will be provided for dancers to change. They may pack their ballet uniform and change at the studio before class.
