Dress Code
Proper dancewear is required for all classes to ensure safety, comfort, and freedom of movement - no street clothes please. While we don't require a specific uniform (aside from ballet), students must wear clothing from a dancewear store/site. Leotards, tights, dance shorts or leggings and matching sets are all great choices Dance-wear must be solid colored, no logos or busy patterns (bright colors recommended for a fun vibrant look). This ensures that every dancer is comfortable during class. Thank you for helping create the best environment for learning!

- Hair must be neatly secured away from the face in a tight, slicked- back style with no fly-aways.

NOTE : Our dress code is strict and must be followed to maintain a polished and professional look.
DANCE SHOE REQUIREMENTS & UNIFORM RECOMMENDATIONS
Jazz + Musical Theatre:
Shoes: Tan Capezio pirouetts
Uniform: Any dancewear

Hip - Hop:
Shoes: White high-top Converse (only yo be worn in the studio)
Uniform: Any dancewear
Solid color sweatpants, joggers, or cargo pants are strongly recommended.

Contemporary:
Shoes: Tan Capezio pirouettes

Tap:
Shoes: Black tap shoes
Uniform: Any dancewear

Acro:
Shoes: No shoes required

- Tights are not required for any of these classes, but beige tights are recommended if needed

FOR ALL BALLET CLASSES AT GOLDEN GROOVE DANCE CO, EACH AGE GROUP IS ASSIGNED A SPECIFIC COLORED LEOTARD, WHICH IS REQUIRED FOR CLASS. THESE MUST BE ORDERED THROUGH US AT THE AT THE START OF THE SEASON.
